Our Estimated Delivery Dates (EDD) are determined based on the following factors:
- 3PL/Facility location
- The Passport Export Facility (CA, NJ, IL)
- Service level
- Destination country
- Destination state (for Canada, Australia, and the US)
These EDDs adjust automatically as transit times change. However, due to the global impacts of COVID-19, delays are occurring across our entire supply chain and our algorithm is not always accurately able to predict these unprecedented delays. These delays can be caused by issues such as, but not limited to, reduced staffing both in the US and abroad due to social distancing measures and COVID-19 breakouts and reduced airlift to destination countries.

To help adjust customers expectations, Passport can also help you update the checkout language in cart from our standard "8-14 Business Days" to a range that best reflects the current transit times.
